Overdue catchup!

Jane moving Hogan's Cider shop sign by bicycle

I can't believe this is my first newsletter since I was talking about Easter...

We've introduced a new website.  The checkout should be quicker and you've now the facility to sort your ciders by ABV, style and relevance.  Plus there's a search facility and FAQs.  Please let me know if you have any issues or comments.  Quirks to keep us on our toes pop up now and again!!  We will be introducing a subscription scheme in the near future.  Our shipping is free for 3 cases or more to standard delivery areas.

There's a new Discovery box which is an ideal introduction to our ciders.  The One Juice Collaboration cases have all sold, but we're now offering our contribution to the collaboration in a single 750ml bottle.  We fermented the juice with a brettanomyces yeast and then filtered and bottled with a Champagne yeast and a small amount of sugar for conditioning.
Tasting notes from Martyn Goodwin-Sharman (Neutral Cider Hotel podcast) say "it's all wild and juicy on the palate with pear, pineapple, treacle sweetness and quince like acidity".

Announcing our Breadboard series.   These are small batch ciders and perries.  First up is Breadboard #1 - Pears for Heirs.
This is a pre pandemic 2019 bottle fermented perry.  We've only around 10 in stock; they keep disappearing ... ;)
Perry pear trees are very slow growing and go on for centuries; hence the phrase 'pears for heirs'.  Champagne like, effervescent with natural carbonation, fermented from predominantly Thorn perry pears, with acidity and a little residual sugar.
